Honey
The Concept
Honey is an AI fashion product video: honey running slowly down a pair of black sunglasses. The whole thing is built around one move. The liquid takes over skin, hair and fabric, and the product is the one thing that still reads: the black rectangular front and the white temple inlay hold their shape while everything else disappears beneath it. The set is monochrome, a saturated amber backdrop, and a white sleeveless dress, the brightest value in the frame, streaked vertically where the honey has run. The series shifts scale: the model standing, arms at her sides; the same pose turned side-on, one hand at the temple; a macro shot closing in on a drop hanging off the rim; a detail with a slab of honeycomb held up beside her face, at chin height, honey sliding between her fingers in long strands. The excess is deliberate, meant to make luxury read as matter, something with weight and surface. Shooting this for real would mean re-coating the product in honey for every take. Here you just run it again.
Applications
The constraint here is stated up front: honey covers the lenses and the palette is locked to one warm range, so these shots cannot show the lens gradient, its tint or its true colour. They earn their place with an eyewear brand that has already done the neutral catalogue work and now needs the image that sets a campaign's colour code. In a cut for Reels and social campaigns the macro of the drop is opening material, and the jump between the two figure scales is enough to carry a transition. Solid backdrop, isolated subject: the product still reads once it's cropped, and with no set dressing behind her there is room for overlaid type.
